Vision Product Distribution Pro Platform Launch
Private Vision • George

George, what you built got me thinking.

Creators. Experts. Coaches. Business owners. People with audiences. People who simply have knowledge someone else would pay to access.

The more I looked at the platform through my marketing lens, the more places I could see people using it.

So I started running some numbers.
Here's where the numbers got interesting ↓
YOUR PLATFORM George's technology
CREATORS
COACHES
EXPERTS
BUSINESSES
INFLUENCERS
CUSTOMERS
The first thing I looked at

One paid conversation already creates a real platform transaction.

Using a simple $100 paid-session example:

$100
Customer Session
≈ $80
To the Host
+
≈ $20
Gross Platform Revenue
That $20 is not “profit.” It is the working gross platform revenue before processing, distribution costs, refunds, chargebacks, operating costs, taxes and other expenses.
But once I saw the transaction, my next question was obvious:

What happens when this gets used at scale?
So I ran it forward

What happens when people start using this at scale?

$100,000
Monthly Paid-Session GMV
≈ $20,000
Gross Platform Revenue
$500,000
Monthly Paid-Session GMV
≈ $100,000
Gross Platform Revenue
$1,000,000
Monthly Paid-Session GMV
≈ $200,000
Gross Platform Revenue
$5,000,000
Monthly Paid-Session GMV
≈ $1,000,000
Gross Platform Revenue
$10,000,000
Monthly Paid-Session GMV
≈ $2,000,000
Gross Platform Revenue
$50,000,000
Monthly Paid-Session GMV
≈ $10,000,000
Gross Platform Revenue
Illustrative scenarios using a working 20% platform-fee assumption. Gross platform revenue, not profit. Before distribution costs, processing, refunds, operating expenses, taxes and other costs.
The part that caught my attention wasn't one huge creator. It was what happens if thousands of people are producing transactions through the same platform.
Run it yourself

What could different levels of usage look like?

Change the assumptions. The point isn't to predict what the platform will do. It's to see how the economics behave as usage grows.

Illustrative Gross Subscription Revenue
$2,199,900
Combined Gross Platform + Subscription Revenue
10,000 people producing $1,000 each creates $10,000,000 in monthly paid-session GMV.
That's when I stopped thinking only about who the biggest Hosts might be and started thinking about how many Hosts we could reach.
Illustrative calculator only. Gross revenue is not profit and does not deduct distribution costs, processing, refunds, chargebacks, operating expenses, taxes or other company costs.
Then there's a second layer

Transactions don't have to be the only recurring revenue.

If a portion of the people using the platform eventually choose a paid software tier because the additional tools make their business easier, that creates another revenue stream alongside platform usage.

10,000 paid accounts
At $19.99 / month
$199,900/mo
50,000 paid accounts
At $19.99 / month
$999,500/mo
100,000 paid accounts
At $19.99 / month
$1,999,000/mo
Illustrative gross subscription revenue using a working $19.99/month paid software-tier assumption. Before commissions, processing, refunds, operating expenses and taxes.
01
Platform Usage
Paid sessions create transaction-based platform revenue.
+
02
Paid Software
Optional software tiers can create recurring subscription revenue.

Two Revenue Layers
Paid sessions and software can exist beside each other. Neither has to replace the other.
And then my brain went somewhere else

I started thinking about the people I already know.

I've spent years building relationships with marketers, business owners, leaders and people with organizations and audiences of their own.

Some know creators.
Some know influencers.
Some know coaches and experts.
Some have large organizations.
Some already have customers.
Some know people with enormous audiences.

What if those relationships could give us an unusual head start?

Not instead of anything else you want to do with the platform. Not instead of direct customers, paid advertising, strategic partnerships, marketplace growth or other channels.

Just one additional Partner-driven distribution channel we could test together.

Instead of relying primarily on traditional paid advertising to find every early Host and customer, what if part of the customer-acquisition economics rewarded the people who actually introduced valuable Hosts and customers to the platform?

That's where this got really interesting to me

My network could start the first wave.
The right model could help create the next ones.

More Introductions
The economic engine is real platform usage.

The opportunity is to give people a reason to discover Hosts and customers who actually use the platform, create transactions and introduce it to others.
What matters Partners discover people who actually use the platform, create transactions and bring customers to it.
Potential advantage The channel may create additional waves without the company having to purchase every introduction upfront through an advertising platform.
And to be clear

I'm not looking at this as “the new way the platform has to work.”

This doesn't have to change any of the other ways you want to grow the platform.

Direct Customers Paid Advertising Strategic Partnerships Marketplace Growth Other Channels
What I'm interested in is whether we could test a Partner-driven distribution channel for the market and relationships I can bring.
GEORGE YOU BUILT THE TECHNOLOGY.

The platform, product foundation and core capability are already there.

+
DUSTIN I'LL BRING A MARKET WE CAN TEST IT IN.

Marketing, relationships, positioning, launch strategy and first-wave reach.

Then we see what the market tells us.
If it works, we'll have something real to build on together.
So that left me with another question.

If we can get this in front of the right people... how many ways could they use it?

Paid conversations are already there. But once I started thinking about creators, coaches, experts, businesses and teams actually using the platform, I started seeing even more possibilities.

That's what I looked at next.
