Getting started

4 questions
I have about $2,000. Where should I start?

If stateside books are available where you live, the direction taught on this call was to work those first.

With a $2,000 bankroll, Nicholas specifically pointed to DraftKings and FanDuel first, then using the Deposit Optimizer to see the remaining order.

From this call Fanatics was also mentioned later as another stateside book a beginner could add.
Should I open Edgexa before I start opening sportsbooks?

Yes. Use Edgexa first so it can show you which books fit your situation.

  1. Open Edgexa.
  2. Use the Deposit Optimizer.
  3. Choose the sportsbook.
  4. Open the sportsbook account.
  5. Make the actual deposit at the sportsbook.
  6. Add that deposit back into Edgexa for tracking.
Important You do not deposit your bankroll into Edgexa. Edgexa is the software and tracker. Your money goes to the sportsbooks.
Should I start with two books or open four right away?

You do not have to force four books on day one just because the optimizer lists them.

On the stateside example, Nicholas said DraftKings, FanDuel, and Fanatics were three good books to start with because some of the offers have a relatively low funding threshold.

The bigger rule is simpler: open enough books to give yourself options, but not so many that you no longer know what you are doing inside each one.

I just received a withdrawal. Should I put it into one new book or split it across two?

Do not decide based only on the number of books. Check the current offers first.

Run the available amount through the Deposit Optimizer, then compare the actual bonus available at each book today. The optimizer is a starting map, not a replacement for checking the live offer.

02

Bankroll & books

4 questions
Do I always need at least four books open?

No. Four is a useful working position because it gives you more places to move money, but it is not a magic minimum.

Nicholas also recommended keeping some cash outside the books. If your balance becomes concentrated in one place, that reserve can help you open another bonus and spread the bankroll again.

What if I'm starting global with about $1,000?

The call did not teach that you must fund every book the optimizer can display.

Later in the session, Dustin said that if he personally were starting with $1,000, he would likely consider roughly $250 into four books, then adjust based on the real offers available.

Process Check the live bonuses before you deposit. Offers and rollover terms matter more than making the allocation look perfectly even.
Should books with a $0 balance still be selected in Edgexa?

No. For the working odds screen, Dustin's instruction was to keep selected the books that currently have money available to work.

When one working balance reaches zero, remove that book from the selected set and rerun the board using the books that still have balances.

Why are you trying to get a working book down to zero?

Because the goal is not to preserve a particular book's balance. The goal is to keep the bankroll moving while completing the work attached to the books.

Dustin summarized the global loop this way: open the book, convert the bonus, work the rollover, and keep moving the money rather than becoming emotionally attached to the balance sitting in one book.

03

Rollover & low holds

5 questions
What does “lose out of a book” actually mean?

It means you are intentionally looking for positions where the book you want to leave is on the less-favored side, while another book is positioned to receive the balance.

The working guidance repeated on September 3 was to look at higher plus-money numbers in the book you want to move out of. Around +140 or higher was used several times as a practical filter.

Remember Higher plus money changes probability. It does not guarantee which side will win.
On a low hold, am I always looking for a really high negative number?

No. Nicholas corrected that directly on this call.

For a normal low hold, the key is the relationship between the two prices and the resulting hold. He used an even-money example as ideal because both sides were close.

A high positive or high negative number becomes more important when your separate goal is to move money toward or away from a particular book.

I finished my bonuses and now my low holds are losing a few dollars. Is that normal?

Yes. The call separated two different phases.

The bonus phase is where promotional value is being converted. The later low-hold phase is work you may have to do to finish the book's requirement. Small hold costs can occur while doing that.

Can one book run out of cash before I finish its rollover?

Yes, money can move out of a particular book while that book still shows remaining playthrough.

That does not mean the overall bankroll disappeared. It means the balance landed somewhere else. The next job is to keep working the overall set of books and eventually bring playable balance back through the book that still has unfinished rollover.

Does Edgexa size the bets so I cannot deplete a book before rollover is complete?

No. Nicholas answered this directly from the chat.

Edgexa calculates and tracks the positions. It does not force every individual book to retain enough money to complete that book's rollover by itself.

Your money can move between books. That movement is part of the system you are managing.

04

Bonuses & free play

5 questions
I used all my promo money, but the book gave me more the next day. What do I do?

Believe the real book first. If BetNow says you now have another $100 in promo money, treat that as real even if Edgexa does not currently show it.

  1. Manually correct the balance if needed.
  2. Run the newly issued promo money through the appropriate free-play process.
  3. Then continue with regular low holds.

Nicholas mentioned that he had seen a similar thing happen at Heritage, where additional promo appeared after the original promo had already been used.

What happens if my free bet has an odds restriction?

The book may reject the ticket instead of letting you submit something outside its permitted odds range.

The specific question on this call involved MyBookie. The important habit is to know the free-play rules before assuming every plus-money option is eligible.

Can I use a 100% odds boost?

The key issue raised on the call was not simply whether the boost exists. It was whether the boosted odds were being entered into Edgexa before the matching side was calculated.

Easy to get wrong If the sportsbook changes your effective odds and Edgexa is still calculating from the unboosted number, your matching amounts will no longer describe the tickets you actually placed.
How often do global books offer reload bonuses?

There is no single schedule. The call described reloads as account-specific.

You may receive one by email, especially after the book believes you have lost, but you can also ask chat directly whether any reload is available.

Nicholas's working rule on this call was that he generally would not get excited about a reload below roughly 50%.

Should I finish new free play before going back to low holds?

That was the order taught in LuAnn's BetNow example.

  1. Handle the $100 of newly available promo/free-play money.
  2. Convert it using the bonus/free-play workflow.
  3. Then return to normal low holds.
05

Markets & odds

4 questions
When football starts, do I stick with money lines?

No. Nicholas said he uses whichever eligible market gives the best percentage.

That can include the money line, spread, or over/under. The market changes. The basic matching process does not.

If Edgexa shows a spread, how do I find the matching line inside the sportsbook?

Match the actual market, not just the team name.

The example used on this call was a baseball run line such as +1.5. Find that same side and spread inside the second sportsbook, then compare its actual odds with what Edgexa displayed.

If I'm trying to move money out, should I use +140 or wait for +200?

The session did not teach that you must wait for +200.

+140 and above was repeatedly used as a reasonable working filter. A higher plus number means the side is less favored, but the other side can also become more expensive to cover.

Balance the two goals You are looking at both direction and hold. Do not chase a giant plus number while ignoring what it costs on the other side.
Can I just place whatever odds Edgexa displays?

No. Edgexa helps you find the opportunity. The sportsbook owns the live line.

Before submitting both sides, verify the actual market and actual odds in each book. If the sportsbook number changed, update the working numbers before you commit.

Rule Do not submit both tickets until you have verified that you are matching the same event and the intended market on both sides.
06

Crypto & funding

3 questions
I'm nervous about my first crypto purchase. What am I actually doing in Coinbase?

Katie's question on this call was about making sure the purchase itself was the intended crypto asset before moving it to a wallet and then to the book.

The important distinction is between putting dollars into an exchange and actually purchasing the crypto you intend to send.

Check before sending The asset and network have to match what the receiving wallet or sportsbook supports. Do not assume every stablecoin or network is interchangeable.
Can I buy Tether on Coinbase, move it to Exodus, then fund from Exodus?

That exact wallet path was asked about later in the call.

The workflow being discussed was exchange → personal wallet → sportsbook rather than treating the exchange as the long-term sportsbook wallet.

Before every transfer Confirm the coin, network, receiving address, and sportsbook instructions. A wallet path being valid does not mean every network option is valid.
My crypto finally cleared at the exchange. What comes next?

Ruta's example was money clearing at Crypto.com and preparing to move it to SafePal.

Once your purchase is eligible to transfer, the next stage is your personal wallet, then the sportsbook deposit after you have confirmed the book and its funding instructions.

07

Withdrawals

3 questions
Why is the sportsbook asking me questions before approving my withdrawal?

One member described being asked verification and account-usage questions such as how much was deposited, how it was funded, what games were being played, and how the book was found.

Treat withdrawal reviews seriously. Answer factual identity, funding, and account questions accurately and consistently with your verified account information.

Protection rule Do not volunteer private community information or other members' activity. Answer the sportsbook's legitimate account questions truthfully.
Why do people keep saying to work money out of BetWell?

The concern discussed on this call was withdrawal friction.

Dustin described BetWell as a book where members could encounter more documentation requirements and withdrawal limits than they wanted for a book holding a large share of the bankroll.

That is why the training discussed using it when useful, but trying not to let it become the main place where the bankroll accumulates.

Which book was specifically described as easy to withdraw from?

BetOnline came up positively several times during September 3.

One member specifically described it as very easy for her to withdraw from, and later discussion again treated it as one of the cleaner places to move money when available.

08

Canada & location

2 questions
Edgexa does not show a book for Alberta. Does that mean I cannot use it?

Not necessarily.

When Alberta was checked in Edgexa during this call, the particular option being searched did not appear. Nicholas explicitly said that not appearing in Edgexa did not prove the sportsbook itself was unavailable.

His recommendation was to check the sportsbook's own website or contact its support before making assumptions.

Confirm first Availability and offers can vary by province and can change. Verify directly before depositing.
I'm in Canada and the Deposit Optimizer does not perfectly match what I can actually open.

That issue came up directly from a Canadian member.

Use the optimizer as a guide, then verify what is actually available in your province and what the book is actually offering before depositing.

The member on this call was comparing Bet99, BetOnline, Bet365, and other available options rather than blindly following the U.S. ordering.

09

Mistakes & fixes

3 questions
I placed a straight bet in one book and somehow made the other side a parlay. What now?

First identify exactly what was submitted. Do not try to fix a mistake based on what you meant to place.

  1. Open the actual sportsbook ticket.
  2. Confirm which events are inside the parlay.
  3. Confirm the amount and potential result.
  4. See whether the sportsbook offers any cancel or cash-out option.
  5. Make Edgexa match the real ticket, not the intended ticket.
Before submitting Read the bet slip. “Straight” and “Parlay” can sit close together in some sportsbook interfaces.
The balance in Edgexa does not match the balance in the sportsbook. Which one do I trust?

Trust the real sportsbook balance, then correct Edgexa.

Edgexa is your working tracker. The sportsbook is where the actual cash, free play, and settled tickets exist.

September 3 included several examples where a member needed to manually adjust Edgexa because promo money reappeared or a real balance had changed.

I'm afraid to make the first deposit or place the first tickets wrong.

That was one of the most common themes of this session.

Do not try to learn all the future scenarios before taking the first step. Work the book that is actually in front of you, verify the deposit and bonus, and use office hours when the real screen stops matching what you expected.

Use office hours If you are stuck, share the screen. Several September 3 answers became obvious only after Nicholas or Dustin could see the actual balances, promo fields, and tickets.
10

Edgexa

3 questions
When a game ends, does Edgexa automatically update the result?

For bets showing the Auto-Grade behavior discussed on this call, yes. The software updates them after the game is complete.

Dustin demonstrated a live baseball game that was approaching the end and explained that it would grade when the result finalized.

Still verify If a balance or result looks wrong afterward, compare Edgexa with the actual sportsbook and correct your tracker when needed.
Is the Deposit Optimizer telling me exactly what I must do?

No. September 3 reinforced this repeatedly.

Use it to create the starting plan. Then check the actual sportsbook, actual bonus, current funding requirement, rollover, and your own available bankroll before depositing.

This matters even more outside the U.S., where available books can differ from the standard list.

What should I care about most when Edgexa gives me a board full of numbers?

First identify which tool you are using.

For free-play conversion, the conversation repeatedly looked for stronger conversion percentages. For normal low holds, the goal was a small hold. For moving money out of a book, the direction of the odds also mattered.

Do not use one number as the answer to every type of ticket.

Try a sportsbook name like BetNow, a tool like Edgexa, or a topic like rollover, crypto, free play, or parlay.

September 3 in one picture

The call kept coming back to the same five-step loop.

Different people were at different points, but the process underneath their questions stayed remarkably consistent.

01

Open the right book

Check availability and the current promotion before funding.

02

Convert the bonus

Use the appropriate free-play, risk-free, or cash-bonus workflow.

03

Work the rollover

Use valid markets and manageable holds while the requirement comes down.

04

Move the balance

Let money land in cleaner books rather than protecting one book's balance.

05

Withdraw or recycle

Once liquid, withdraw or use the bankroll for the next available promotion.
